Andy,
On March 9th 2007, an angel entered my life. Words fail to describe her presence.
A soul mate had stepped into my life. That night she gave me her broken rose
quartz heart.
Cracked, chipped, and worn, by far the most meaningful gift anyone has ever
given me.
In our conversations, we talked about many topics.
We were moving very fast. Things just felt right. She asked, "If I push
your wheel chair, will you push my wheel chair."
I told her that it would be my honor to push her wheel chair. Soon after that
I became her "wow" guy.
I opened up to her with my BLeafs, and she said that she thought that I would
enjoy your view points.
She was the second person to recommend your teachings to me. My mistake was
that I told her that I would marry her in a heart beat.
She went silent. Crushing my heart. ouch.
This past Easter Sunday, I left the house at 4:40 am. The air was a frigid
cold 25 degrees.
The sky had a thin layer of high clouds moving swiftly past the moon and Jupiter
in the southern sky.
My destination was the 6:00 am mass at the Cathedral of Saint Philip.
Two years to the day on, 2005.4.8,
I stood in the Cathedral of Saint Philip with my camera and took an image
of the sunlight beaming through the stained glass.
My goal was to listen to the mass and then present Dean Candler with a print
of the image.
When I arrived at 5:30 am, the Cathedral was dark.
As the mass started, everyone entered the Cathedral carrying candles that
cast a wonderful glow.
I listened to the mass as chapters of scripture were read. As the main speaker
gave his speech,
I struggled to understand the esoteric meaning of his speech.
After the mass, I presented Dean Candler with the print.
Telling him a little bit about the peace before leaving. I then decided to
head downtown to the Catholic church called the Immaculate Conception.
A church that rests on stones that were quarried and placed by my family in
1869..

Listening to the mass at the Immaculate Conception,
the structure was very formal and rigid. Reading of scriptures were bland
and with little vocal inflections.
However, Henry Gracz did do an excellent job of relating the current events
with the message of Christ's sacrifice on the cross.
Stressing how our generation should embrace the love of Christ.
On a whim, I decided to take my angel's advice. To give you a second chance,
and maybe I would see her again.
I arrived at Northpoint about 20 minutes before the 11:00 am mass. Sitting
way back in the last row almost center stage, the music was at ear crackle
level..
A multimedia production that towered over the candles of the Episcopal service
and is light years ahead of the Catholic service.
As I listened to your words, you asked many questions and made several statements.
What if the church would not have abandoned the message of the cross? What
are you going to do with your power?
What would the world be like if we put others in front?
In your prayer, you asked will this be the generation that puts power and
humility together.
I BLeave that we can be, and that you already have started the ball rolling.
Did you ever see the Rocky and Bowinkle show?
At the end of the show, Bowinkle would say, "Hey Rocky, you wanna watch
me pull a rabbit out of my hat?"
Before Rocky could answer. Bowinkle would say, "and presto."
Usually pulling a roaring lion out of the hat. Then he would quickly stuff
the lion back in the hat.
Looking to Rocky. Bowinkle would say, "I think that I need to get another
hat."
One never quite knows what father has in store for us. Just when we think
that we know, something will happen that comes as a complete surprise.
The beauty of life.
As I stood in the Cathedral of Saint Philip on 2005.4.8, the day that the
world laid Pope John Paul II to rest,
with my camera in hand I asked father to pull a rabbit out of the hat. What
I received was a lion.
Through the stained glass a beam of sunlight was captured in the camera as
I moved the camera around with the shutter open.
I had tied sunlight in a knot.

On 2007.4.9, my angel, Ginnie Blount's birthday, I delivered to your Northpoint
office a print.
The front is the image of sunlight tied in a knot taken on 2005.4.8 at the
Cathedral of Saint Philip.
On the back is what I think is the most powerful expression ever to be delivered.
My sound egotistical, but my humility is that people look at me as if I have
lost my mind.
Yet I consider it to be the most precious of precious.
So in my mind I am giving something of great value away free.
Even giving them a one of a kind abstract photograph.
All in the hope that one of the drawings will survive time and that someday,
one generation will embrace the message of the KnoWell.
I understand that those that do not watch me draw the KnoWell may never see
that I use Socrates, Newton, and Einstein to describe a moment in time.
Bridging the gap between science and religion. Spliting the Photon.

However, there are those that have seen me draw a KnoWell, and they find it
hard to forget me.
Please sir, meet with me. Let me draw you a KnoWell. It would be my honor
to teach you so that I can become a student of your observations.
I learn the most for those that I teach. Sounds strange, but I empower everyone
as my teacher.
I tell my friends, that before I can be somebody, I must first learn to be
no-one.
People at your Northpoint office tell me that you are booked for months to
come.
That people like Jerry Fallwell and others wish to speak with you. I would
guess that you KnoWell what Jerry has on his agenda,
but I can assure you that I will bring a smile to you face that just maybe,
just maybe you might see that we do have a chance at being the generation
that embraces the power of humility.
Father is working in my life, and I accept that I may never get to see the
fruit of my creation.
As I stand before father, I KnoWell that I am trying.
May I have fifteen minutes of your time?
Best wishes,
David Noel Lynch
